First, the installed scale continues to grow rapidly. In the first half of the year, photovoltaic power generation added 78.42 million kilowatts, accounting for 56% of the new power installation; As of the end of June, the cumulative installed capacity was about 470 million kilowatts, which is already the second largest power source in China, second only to coal power.

Second, the effect of driving investment in fixed assets is obvious. In the first half of the year, the investment in photovoltaic power generation exceeded 130 billion yuan, accounting for about 50% of the total investment in renewable energy, which played an important role in restoring economic growth in the post-epidemic era.

Third, the power generation capacity continues to increase, and the overall consumption and utilization remain at a high level. In the first half of the year, the photovoltaic power generation capacity was 266.3 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of about 30%, and the average utilization rate was about 98%.

Fourth, the level of technology has been continuously improved. The efficiency of some mass-produced advanced batteries has reached 25.8%, and the commercialization process of new batteries such as heterojunction and perovskite has accelerated significantly.

Fifth, the production capacity of all links of the industry, especially the polysilicon link, has been fully released, and the industry price has returned to normal.
