Carbon steel butt welding flange is a kind of pipe fittings, which refers to the flange with neck and circular pipe transition and butt welded with the pipe. Butt - welding flange is a kind of disc - shaped part, which is widely used in pipeline engineering For common use, flanges are used in pairs. In pipeline engineering, butt welding flange is mainly used for pipeline connection. A flange plate shall be installed for various pipelines to be connected. Threaded flanges can be used for low-pressure pipelines, and welded flanges can be used for pressure above 4kg. A sealing point shall be added between the two flanges, and then fastened with bolts. Flanges with different pressures have different thicknesses and use different bolts.

Common carbon steel welding flanges include flat welding flange and butt welding flange. Carbon steel butt welding flange is not easy to deform, has good sealing and is widely used. It is suitable for pipelines with large fluctuation of pressure or temperature or high-temperature, high-pressure and low-temperature pipelines. Its advantage is that the price is relatively cheap and the heat-resistant function is good. Flange is the connecting equipment of two large-diameter pipelines, usually two flange pieces and several fastening bolts.

After adding an appropriate amount of carbon element, it will become firm, with reduced plasticity and enhanced strength. Due to the low thermal conductivity of carbon steel welding flange, the thermal conductivity of 20 ℃ is 0.21-0.24w/mk, which is much smaller than that of steel pipe and purple steel pipe, so PP-R pipe has good thermal insulation.

Except for a few hydrogenating agents, the carbon steel butt welding flange can resist the corrosion of a variety of chemical media. The carbon steel butt welding flange has excellent acid, alkali and corrosion resistance, will not rust, will not corrode, will not reproduce bacteria, and has no electrochemical corrosion. The service life of carbon steel pipe is more than 50 years under ultraviolet radiation and anti fading temperature.
